Description

Do you like interacting with people? We need volunteers for Bolsover Street (near Great Portland street tube station) and Stanmore, morning and afternoon to support the team gather patient feedback  - we don’t know what we don’t know so any real time feedback is valuable to proving the best patient experience and help us improve.

Duties
  • Greeting patients
  • Helping patients and visitors to find where they need to go
  • Using an Ipad to input patient feedback into our 'Friends and Family Test (FFT)' survey
  • Active listening to patient feedback and/or concerns
  • Tidying waiting areas
  • Ensure any paper feedback forms are input into the system when required
Who will the volunteers be working with?
A largely independent role, the volunteer will be engaging with patients to gather real-time feedback after they have attended an appointment in our outpatient departments. There will be a requirement to liaise with outpatient staff where needed.
Training
New volunteers will be either shadowing an existing volunteer or shown how to do the role by a member of staff
