Events Maker
We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhoods possible. We do it by funding groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment and life-changing support. For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day. For children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere. For this generation and all those to come. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to serious illness.
Be part of it.

Do you enjoy the buzz of events and speaking to new people, and want to develop or use your organisation skills? This is the role for you.
We’d like you to offer your time to help us raise vital funds needed each year to support the seriously ill children cared for at GOSH. By joining the GOSH team you’ll ensure supporters have an excellent experience at GOSH fundraising events, including Royal Parks Half Marathon, Young Art event and Race for The Kids.

- Knowing that you are helping seriously ill children and their families have access to care and support.
What we offer in return
- Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses in line with GOSH guidelines
- Training and support as outlined above
- A reference once you have volunteered at your first event.
Equality and diversity
GOSH recognises the strengths of equality, diversity, and inclusion – and how a diverse group of volunteers can help us reflect our diverse patient cohort. Therefore, we particularly welcome applicants from a range of different backgrounds.
We also recognise that disabled people, or those with long-term health conditions, may need some support from us to volunteer. We are more than happy to make reasonable adjustments and cater to your needs.
