Habesha Society: Treasurer

Hi, my name is Meron and in my second year of studying Social Sciences BSc.  As one of the founding members of the UCL Habesha Society, I’m deeply committed to creating an inclusive community for our members. Serving as treasurer allows me to combine my organisational skills and passion for event planning, to ensure our society thrives and has longevity. With previous experience of managing finances and coordinating events as the interim treasurer, I’m confident in my ability to handle the financial responsibilities of this role, from tracking expenses to securing funding for our society activities. My goal is to organise engaging events that celebrate our rich culture, create connections, and strengthen our sense of community. I’m dedicated to ensuring the success of the Habesha Society and representing our members’ interests effectively.
