Hi I’m Lucy!

I been a member of LM over this past year and Its the best society I’ve joined. The people and the atmosphere of LM events are fuelled by the connections people make and the friendships they form. That’s why social events are so important to the soc, as they help form these bonds.

Voting for me will guarantee Fun and Fresh socials for the boozers and the less alcoholic members of the soc, but most importantly- an all in all good time!

so if you fancy it- pls vote, it will be much appreciated

Nikolaos Kourkoulas

Hi! My name is Nick, I am a physics student and I am running for Social Secretary of the live music society!

Over the past 2 years, I have met some of my best friends through the society, mostly through social events,  and I thought it was finally time to give back! That is why I am running for social secretary.  I have already held the position of social secretary of the physics society (2019-20) and so I am familiar with how the role works and what it entails.

While social events this year have been really fun, I have some new ideas that would make the society even more enjoyable and welcoming for newcomers and returning members alike! Album listening parties, pub quizzes, board game nights, and Andy’s Greek taverna dinners (iykyk) are just some of the ideas I bring to the table. However, if I have learnt one thing from my experience as a social sec is that a society’s roster of events should be as diverse and inclusive as possible. That is why if I am elected I will aim to have at least 1 non-alcoholic social event per month. Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean I’ll be getting rid of our beloved pub crawls, it just means more events for everyone!

I hope that this has convinced you to vote for me and I hope to see you at the next event! :)
