IDEA Society: President

Growing up in a developing country and emerging economy, I have developed knowledge, experience and passion regarding international development and building social enterprises to empower people who deserve an equal opportunity to succeed and enjoy the same level of well-being and human development as their Western counterparts. As the existing Events Officer, I have been responsible for overseeing and organising various events held by the society which aimed to effectively realise our ideals and bring our society members together in a friendly and inclusive manner.
I would like to nominate myself as the President of IDEA Society because I am confident that my professional background in international relations and my previous experience as the Committee Member would contribute to the development of the society and provision of great experience for our society members. Moreover, as someone who is genuinely passionate about our mission and is committed to bringing our members the best experiences and activities, I believe I would be able to bring the society forward with my committee and society members. I promise that if I was elected as the President, I would fully commit to providing quality activities that would better educate the society members and the university about international development as well as social enterprises, and be invested in outreach and inclusion efforts that would build a larger platform for all fervent about our ideals across the globe.
