Filipino Society: Culture & Social Officer

Becoming the culture & social officer for the Filipino society would be an honour to achieve. I'm aware of the responsibilities that are needed for this position, given the fact that I was an interim committee member already for the society. Having previous experience with planning events, I hope to ensure that future events for the society will be better and more enjoyable for the members to attend to. I aspire to amalgamate Filipino culture within the society as much as possible by sharing my own personal experiences and adventures to members. Joining the committee team will be a valuable experience since I'm able to develop my interpersonal skills even more as well having the opportunity to know more about UCL.  I think it's important for everyone in the society to have a great time and let them get to know each other through similar interests or backgrounds and I hope to be the bridge that will connect them all. I'm so excited to oversee the social and cultural aspect of the society, I wish to meet more people at UCL and get to know them and their backgrounds. I really look forward in making sure that the society is ran thoroughly with the other committee members in the future.
