Mabuhay!
Welcome to UCL Filipino Society!
We are a student community celebrating Filipino culture, food, traditions and community at UCL. Whether you’re Filipino, part-Filipino, have Filipino friends, are interested in the Philippines or simply want to experience something new, everyone is welcome.
Throughout the year, we bring students together through socials, karaoke, Filipino food, games, sports, cultural activities, fundraisers and collaborations with Filipino societies across the UK.
Whether you’re joining us for your first event or returning for another year, there’s always something to get involved in.
What Does A Membership Get You?
Membership gives you access to Filipino Society events, activities and community throughout the academic year.
- 🎟️ Loyalty Programme
-
Memberships are open to UCL students who want to be part of Filipino Society throughout the academic year. Already a member? Welcome back! Keep an eye on our events and society updates throughout the year. Remember to pick it up at some point during term time!
For 2026/27, we’re introducing a new and experimental Filipino Society Loyalty Membership Card.
The card is designed to reward members for showing up and getting involved throughout the year.
Bring your card to selected Filipino Society events and activities to collect stamps or stickers. At eligible events, look out for a committee member to get your card stamped.
As this is a new and experimental scheme, eligible events and rewards will be developed throughout the year.
- 🤝 Community Partners
-
We work with Filipino businesses, organisations and community partners to connect our members with Filipino food, culture and experiences across London.
Our confirmed 2026/27 community partners include:
🎉 Monsta
🍟 Potato Corner
🥟 Campos Empanadas
💿 Mahalko StudioPartner benefits vary between businesses and events. Specific discounts, offers or member benefits will only be advertised once confirmed.
- 👥 Meet the 2026/27 Committee
-
Our committee organises events, supports members and helps build the Filipino Society community throughout the year. Reach out to these members during selected events or whenever if you ever need help or want to your loyalty card stamped!
