Sudharshan Sundaramahalingam

Hello, my name is Sudharshan and I’m a first-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student. Entrepreneurship is everything to me - I believe that if you want a better future, the best path there is to build it yourself. And at UCLe, I’ve been able to meet some amazing people who think and feel the same. I want to help my friends, members of UCLe and students in UCL believe that they can come up with ideas that could change the world. I also want to bring the passionate people I’ve met in UCL together and talk to them about the crazy ideas that could make the world a better place. I’m running to be the President of UCLe because I know how hard it is to believe that you can build something that matters, and I want to support our members with a community and resources that keep them going. As President, I want to create spaces for brainstorming and team building to help students who want to see change happen, come up with their billion dollar ideas. I also want to grow our support network and create a collaborative community where students can feel like anything’s possible. I believe in being a data-driven society to understand and inspire more students to chase the futures they could create. My dream is for some of the most visionary startups of the 21st century to come from UCL, and I hope that as President, I can help make my dream a reality.

Hindy Rossignol

Dear all,

I believe I could be a valuable president for two reasons:

Firstly, I started entrepreneurship when I was 14 in Silicon Valley where I fell in love with developing projects from A (brainstorming) to Z (pitching to investors). The feeling of having a solution to a prompt that comes from observations is priceless to me. After that, I was an entrepreneurship coach and then, I began to multiply experiences in selective entrepreneurship programs such as X-HEC entrepreneurs in which I created a webapp for volunteering: Start’Aid.

Secondly, I am truly passionate. I have chosen to study Maths, Astrophysics, and Econ (majors) and Law (minor) for the specific purpose of developing a toolkit to solve real-life problems. My willingness to have a positive impact and my optimism are the two main components of my personality. Managing this society at the same time as my degree will not be an issue since I already experienced that amount of involvement when I worked at Universal Music (band after the voice kids) and at the same time in high school.

I have been very involved in UCLE by participating in its business game, for example, where I was a runner-up on 2/3 challenges. This year, I was an active member. Next year, I would love to be a proactive leader. I hope you will understand my motivations and vote for me so that I can prove to you the great results we can achieve, together at UCLE.

Sincerely,

Hindy Rossignol
