Raghav Sanagavarapu

I’m Raghav, a first-year representative at the UCL Consulting Society and I’m running for the position of Welfare Officer.

Being part of the Consulting Society committee thus far has been an extremely rewarding experience. From hosting events online to helping events run in person I was given a lot of responsibility early on and I feel I have done a good job to utilise the opportunities provided to me.

I want to continue to make a difference in Consulting Society and that is why I want to be Welfare Officer.

As Welfare Officer I will work towards ensuring Consulting Society is a place where members can meet like-minded people, form meaningful friendships and learn a thing or two about their potential careers.

My goal this year is to organise events that not only allow students to benefit academically but give them opportunities to socialize and build a network with other members. I feel I can achieve this goal by having more society socials not just with the committee but with members of our society. We can have career fairs with professional from top firms

Moreover, as Welfare Officer I want to put an emphasis on mental health and ensure Consulting Society is a safe place for students to learn more about the career goals without any hindrances.

Vote Raghav for something bigger and better next year.
