I will be organising competitions that will allow participants to meet like-minded peers, gain valuable experience, and share their knowledge on consulting. I will strive to build strong connections with societies at other universities for future cooperation. I strongly believe in teamwork and will work together with the team to organise fun and engaging competitions.

Hi, I’m Anna! I’ve served as your First Year Representative in the Case Studies Division this year, running a range of in-person workshops from beginner-level market entry to advanced M&A. I’ve also been mentored by a professional consultant in developing both technical and interpersonal skills.

Having prepared materials for case study workshops, I understand the importance of a well-structured case in honing competencies needed for consulting. Speaking with you at these sessions has given me better insight into how you hope to gain confidence in case studies. I aim to construct competition cases that target the development of specific industry skills, and that align with current industry trends to improve commercial awareness. I also hope to host ad-hoc sessions catering to participants with different levels of experience, so that everyone is well-equipped to compete: introductory workshops on the basics of case study analysis, and practice sessions for those looking to receive feedback on their presentation skills.

Together with the Technology Division, and societies like the Technology Society and Data Science Society, I’m looking to explore a digital aspect that goes beyond the structure of traditional case competitions. I would also like to reach out to career societies both within and beyond UCL to run larger-scale events and consolidate industry resources, expanding participants’ networks through meeting professionals and high-potential peers.
