Join our NEW themed painting sessions with Alice White throughout November!
All classes are suitable for people with some experience of painting (in any material), who would like to experiment, and develop skills. Total beginners are welcome to every session.
In this palette knife painting class (focusing on oil and acrylic), YOU WILL:
- Learn how to use palette knives of different shapes and sizes
- Create a range of different texture effects
- Learn to use impasto painting mediums
- Learn to build up/control paint in thick layers
- Use the palette knife with the brush
- Try experimental painting techniques
IMPORTANT INFO: Please bring in ONE PRINTED/PHOTOGRAPH IMAGE OF A LANDSCAPE for this class. It could be a real place or imaginary. Your tutor will have reference images available. ((N.B: Images on iPhones/smartphones are not recommended, as your phone could get damaged by paint))
ABOUT THE TUTOR - Alice White is a Tutor at the University of the Arts London, and an Accredited Lecturer for The Art Society. She brings over 15 years of experience to this role, and is looking forward to connecting with you all!
