Description

Paiwand is operating as a main organisation to help many refugees in London. We're looking for a rep to act as the face of Paiwand and attend meetings and conferences that staff are not able to attend because they are involved in direct work with the refugees. Successful volunteer reps will also be able to benefit from this role by developing their listening skills, communication skills and enhance their awareness of different issues that refugees experience on a daily basis.  

Duties
  • Media presenter  
  • Keep professional when representing Paiwand  
  • Attend meetings and make notes to relay to the Company Director  -
  • Attend annual conferences and meetings  
Who will the volunteers be working with?
The company director.
Training
The volunteer will have an induction and be trained on their role duties.

Time commitment

We ideally would ask the volunteer to commit to 2 days a week for a minimum of 6-months. The working hours are flexible and can be planned with their line manager.
