Description

Co-creating initiatives with our beneficiaries is inherent to our mission. As we enable young people to have ownership in tackling causes that affect them and their peers based on their own lived experience.

We are looking for a team 3 volunteers to volunteer with us as part of the Digital Marketing and Branding Team. The successful candidates  will work with the Founder and Outreach Trustee lead to enhance our digital presence digital presence and relationship with our audience. Not only social media platforms but opportunity to refine our website. 

The areas will comprise of : Social Media, Website development, Contribution to vlogging and blogging for both social media and our website page as well online and printed publicity materials.

These volunteering role will be suitable for students with a marketing, PR or media background. 

Duties

The volunteers would be required to put their knowledge and skills into practice to carry out the following duties: 

Handling social media accounts, shooting and posting online content, helping with the development of social media strategy, tailoring content for the same, videography, editing using apps like Canva or InShot, writing blogs or journalism, handling advertisements, increasing outreach and admin work.  Website design and content.

  1. You will have an eye to distinguish the type of content we should post tailored to each social media platform.
  2. Develop creative content and execute the ideas aligned with our mission and aims to strengthen a connection with our audience and prospective stakeholders.
  3. Devising and creating interviews with our audience during workshops, events, conference or any other relevant platforms. 
  4. Website design and refining our page to ensure it appeals to our audience.
  5. Scheduling posts and posting on an-adhoc basis.
  6. Work with the team to create a calendar of social media posts aligning with the charity's objectives.

Time commitment

Flexible but a minimum of 3 hours per week. However during periods where we are running campaigns and events volunteers must be flexible and undertake more hours.
