Being a Creative requires confidence and courage, something we all have but need to unlock in order to achieve what we dream of. In this session, Amelia will share her experience with confidence and building connections within the creative industry. What techniques helped her and how to ensure you walk into rooms confident and leave with the right connections. 

About Amelia

Amelia Poamz has 10 years in the creative industry, working across theatre, events, community outreach, radio and more. Most recently reached three years broadcasting and producing on BBC Radio London, highlighting London's creative scene. Amelia has hosted and curated a number of creative events with a main focus on music events. She is co-founder of a music community supporting emerging talent and runs intimate feedback nights. Amelia has 5 years of experience working in community-facing roles with charity Shelter, The Barbican and Barking and Dagenham Council, leading workshops, gathering research and bringing communities together.
