My ambitions for UCL's Lifestyle Medicine society are immense. I am excited to lead a team of like-minded individuals who appreciate how simple, effective lifestyle habits can tackle upstream determinants of chronic disease. Two years ago, I founded a Lifestyle Medicine blog, The Mindful Hustle, with the purpose of encouraging my community to cultivate evidence-based, healthful lifestyle behaviours into their everyday routines. Driven by my passion to make health science accessible to the general public, I acquired a Nutrition Coach certification to further my understanding of Nutrition as one of LM's core pillars. My dedication to the Lifestyle Medicine movement as a member of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine have propelled me to engage enthusiastically in conferences, and I have plans to establish and strengthen the link between BSLM and UCL's Lifestyle Medicine Society. Throughout the academic year, you will expect to enjoy wholesome socials, talks, fun challenges and receive health tips via IG.

I would also like to shed light on health inequities in England, and how Lifestyle Medicine can play an invaluable role to close this health gap.

As President, I want to cultivate a supportive atmosphere for the committee and its members to journey together as we incorporate healthful habits in our daily lives. It would be fantastic if we could all be advocates of this incredible movement, which has the power to improve public health outcomes.
