Legal Tech Society: Treasurer

In a world of digital disruption, many law firms and businesses are increasingly recognised the efficiency that legal technology provides. The innovation surrounding this is what makes legal technology so exciting! In taking on the position of Treasurer I want to contribute to this innovation in facilitating a thriving environment, stimulating engagement from within the legal sector.   

As Treasurer I will strive to prioritise:

Expanding network:

• Expanding our network within the industry to provide members with exclusive opportunities to interact with leaders in the Legal Tech space. My long-term plan for this society is to be able to provide members with insight days and other opportunities.

• To do this, I will seek out sponsorships and campus affiliations whilst regularly liaising with the Union to ensure smooth running of operations.

Expanding member base:

• Meet with a group of likeminded people, expanding on interactions with industry professionals and students.

• Collaborating with other societies to expand our member base.  

• Stimulate engagement and investment both from within and outside the legal sector.
