Legal Tech Society: Tech-Reg and Cybersecurity Officer

Hello everyone, my name is Roy and I'm running for the position of Tech-Reg and Cybersecurity Officer as I'm looking forward to becoming a member of the nice community that this society is. I hope that with my preexisting interest in cyber security and the general legal side of computing I can help expand the society's resources, making topics that might at times turn people off as too technical more accessible and interesting.

As someone who is naturally drawn towards innovative things, I find Legal Tech particularly interesting because it is in this field that the future of Law lies. As a tech-reg and cybersecurity officer, I will work towards:

(1) Painting the global outlook on cybersecurity regulations with mass marketed content

(2) Highlighting the career prospects in the emerging field of Legal Tech with unique networking opportunities

(3) Stimulating interest within the student community through competitions

- Risk management (Central Bank Scholar, Insurance Intern) 

- Event planning (Student Council)

- Emcee and Moderator (Hosted a panel session on cryptocurrency with 100+ participants)

- Leadership (UCL Cheerleading Team Captain, Youth Club Co-Founder)
