Lebanese Society: Social Secretary

As soon as I arrived to UCL, being in a new environment, surrounded by students from different nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds, I have always wanted to have a piece of Lebanon with me in the UK. I found myself lucky to have a Lebanese Society at UCL, where I got the opportunity to meet many Lebanese students like me through the variety of events that took place during my time here. Having joined all the events, from the pub crawls to the very insightful talks, I have learned so much and had an amazing time with a great community. This is why next year, I wish to contribute and have my part in organizing events in order to keep on bringing the Lebanese community all together and continue sharing the beauty of my country to everyone, Lebanese or not, in a very diverse environment. Thus, I think that I would be the right fit for the social secretary position and therefore nominate myself for the coming year.
