Jaimie K Y Leung

My name is Jaimie Leung and I am a second-year Psychology with Education student running for Charity Officer for the second year. I was only elected at the beginning of the second term due to Charity Officer being a new position, and helped plan out crocheting little hats as part of Age UK's innocent big knit (unfortunately, I fell ill with Covid-19 and wasn't able to attend the session - which my other committee members took charge of). I hope to run another session like this once more this term. If elected, I hope to continue with developing this charitable event and hopefully make it a tradition within the KnitSoc. I also hope to develop longer projects that the society as a whole could work together on, such as making a big blanket to donate. I would also hope to work with the Collaborations Officer to propose fundraising events alongside crafting for a good cause.
