Kinesis Magazine: President

As the current Copy Editor, I have had the wonderful opportunity to have worked alongside so many of the awesome members that make Kinesis what it is today. Kinesis helped me foster my passion for science journalism in the midst of the pandemic. Having been involved with interviews and preparation of Issues, I have gathered the relevant needs to lead Kinesis. Furthermore, I endeavour to ensure Kinesis is a haven for individuals to foster their love for science and arts, no matter their degree pathway.

As president, I wish to organise more introductory events for new and returning members, including research, and writing sessions to ensure everyone can contribute to Kinesis, alongside more socials to welcome more in, regardless of their academic background. I also wish to increase the events we have by partnering with other societies to have more speaker events. Kinesis is a community of which I am very proud to have been a part of. I hope to take Kinesis forward into the new academic year to carry on with the work and commitment we have shown since the inception of our wonderful society.
