K-POP Society: President

When I joined the K-Pop Society last year, I finally found a place where I could be myself and express my thoughts freely. Since then, I have taken part in all the events and have even been selected as a dance teacher. Teaching the classes and talking to the members showed me that there are many who want to present their ideas and talents. I assure you I will work hard at maintaining an environment where people can share their passion comfortably.

I will collaborate with the team to prepare an excellent K-Pop experience through weekly classes, dance covers, collaborating with other universities, Random Play Dance, 2 legendary showcases, K-pop/ K-Drama quizzes, games that idols play in reality shows (I can’t be the only one who has always wanted to play Scream in Silence) and more. We will aim to hold more online events on the weekends to swoon over KDrama leads and be the first ones to watch the latest K-Pop MVs. Since we can never get enough of the Korean lifestyle, we plan to have K-Pop nights out with Korean food and karaoke.

I am approachable and good at understanding my team’s wants and needs. Leading multiple projects at university and organising events for other UCL societies has improved my time management and decision-making skills. Being punctual and meticulous, as I am, will allow me to connect well with the Student Union to support our society.
