Italian Society: President

As students, we have the duty to enjoy our time and to prepare ourselves for our future. The society should have the task of facilitating the interaction among students through recreational activities as well as giving us a taste of the working world. If on a side we have to enjoy ourselves with events organised by the society (dinners, shows…) enhancing the Italian spirit, on the other side we can start to get to know the professional world that will see us as protagonists tomorrow. We can do this by exploring three sectors that relate to us closely: the Italian culture, the Italian finance in London and the “Made in Italy”, focusing mainly in fashion, food, wines and art. The tools that we have at our disposal to approach these sectors are predominantly two: professional associations, which allow us to obtain information on the associated enterprises, and internationally acclaimed Italian representatives who have achieved important results in the various sectors and can reveal to us the path and the obstacles they had to overcome in order to break through the working world, fascinating us with their success stories that witness their innate passion. For the implementation of this project, we must actively involve the Italian Embassy in London. This is my vision of the Italian Society, and these are the goals for which I place myself at your disposal.
