Indonesian Society: Treasurer

Math and I are not friends. But excel sheets and I are (kinda). Even though I can’t count algebraic equations, I can for sure keep the checks and balances of the society’s spending.

As a treasurer, your position is not only to be accountable for the financials of the society but also to ensure that it stays connected with external parties, may it be the student union or with potential sponsors. I feel like this role would suit me as I am talkative (maybe too much at times), convincing and most of all, not afraid to engage in discussions with new people.

The tight-knit community in the Indonesian society is one of the main reasons I would like to join next school year. The abundance of events (successful ones, must I say) shows the creativity of the Indonesian community in London and the reason it is so special and unique.

If I have the opportunity to be a part of it, I will become a responsible, engaging and committed member. I hope to meet new people and become a member of the best society in UCL and London.
