Horse Riding Club: President

Hi all! My name is Sophia Fikree and I am running for President of the Horse Riding Club! 

I believe I am a suitable candidate for various reasons.

During this year, I have been in the club's second team, and have been actively involved in helping at most events and activities at the Club. This enables me to have a wide understanding of how the club operates and its expectations. Competing in the second's team this year has given me an insight into the BUCS league and how competitions are organized and run smoothly. Furthermore, being Sports Captain at my high school in the UAE has also enabled me to acquire essential organizational and team management skills, which will help committee members feel welcome to raise any issues, and create a warm environment for all club members.

My aim as president is, for the club to be a fun and welcoming environment, where all people are able to relax and share the same passion we have for horse riding. I believe I am a kind and understanding individual, and, along with my high motivation, these traits will aid in improving the club's growth. Overall, I would be honored to serve you as President in 2022-2023 and continue my unconditional commitment to the Club!
