Taanya Bhatt
My name is Taanya - I am a first year Med student from NW London and I am running to be HSoc’s Treasurer this year!
Being involved with Hindu Society over the past few months as an FYR has been one of the best decisions I have made, and I owe a lot of my most memorable experiences and closest friendships to it. It has also helped me to gain an insight into the planning and management that goes on behind-the-scenes to ensure that we are providing you with the best possible events and experiences!
I believe that I have both the money-management and the leadership skills to take on this key role and ensure that Hindu Soc has another great year. The sense of community that the society provides is something that’s played a really big part of my first year experience, and I will strive to make sure the events and socials planned are better than ever before! I truly think that 2022/23 will be one of the best years yet, and I can’t wait to help us all make some more unforgettable memories :)
