Hindu Society: President

Hi! My name is Yash Nagargoje, and I’m a first year computer science student from Mumbai. I am running to be this year’s President for Hindu Society. Accepting to be a first year representative this year was one of the best decisions I’ve ever taken. Hindu society vastly helped me introduce and celebrate my culture here at UCL. During my time as a FYR, I met incredible people and made  unforgettable memories with the Hindu society.                               

I know that I would be the perfect candidate for president this year as being a FYR provided me with relevant knowledge to lead the society. I’ll make sure to bring back all the well- known society events at a much larger level and organise networking events to help members connect with alumni and companies. Being one of the few international students on the committee, I believe that I’ll be able to help the international students blend into the local culture therefore expanding our community and outreach.

Hence, I strongly believe that I would be able to lead the society efficiently and bring in valuable experience which will assist with the smooth functionality of the society.
