My main objective if elected president will be trying to give back more to the department and the students. I believe the Greenough Society has sufficient resources that can be spent on bettering the KLB, the student experience, and future activities, and I aim to utilize the funds in the most efficient manner that benefit not just members, but also every Earth Science students. I hope this means bringing what everyone wants and needs into the department building, and more frequent society events with more accessible admissions. I wish the Greenough Society can help more than just its members but the entire department. I wish to improve the academic and social experience of the future earth scientists. So please consider casting me a vote in this leadership race.

Thank you,

Jiarong Xie

Alessandra T Quigley

My name is Alessandra, and I want to be your next Greenough president. For those of you who don't know me, I'm a third year natural scientist majoring in Earth and Environment and your current Greenough treasurer. In my last two years on Greenough committee (Academic secretary and treasurer), I have helped organize and finance a trip to the Isle of Wight, several talks, a department-wide party, and a Michelin-recommended Christmas dinner.

My presidential goals:

- Gear loans for field trips

- Free tea and coffee in the common room

- Free food at least once a month

- End of term formal dinners partially subsidized for members

- Joint events with Women in Earth Sciences

- Fresher's week events (both for freshers' and everyone)

Vote for me, and I'll make next year rock (geology pun intended)!
