Golf Club: Treasurer

One of the most important part of any successful society is how they manage their budget. Being an auditor for an educational firm in my gap year and interning with an Investment firm in 2019 allowed me to learn and understand the importance of a budget and how to ensure it is allocated well. To have events such as scramble tournaments, mini golf or simply a pub social every week, it requires funding, but more importantly someone capable of managing the available funds. This year, the student union had given the golf society a very tight budget, and yet we were able to do a tremendous amount with it. As our budget grows, so will the frequency of our various activities and socials, but only if the budget is allocated well. By voting for me, you can rest-assured that every penny will be used with the best interest of the society at heart, allowing us fellow golfers to keep playing and enjoying the game we love more often than ever before.
