I am currently in my penultimate year of my engineering degree, with some experience as a treasurer and with a good background in finance due to multiple internships. I believe I can restore the UCL Futsal club to its former glory by finding the funds to enable us to join the Futsal BUCS league once again, as well as find the money to order some sexy kits to make our players shine even more on the pitch. Finally, I'll try and get the union to provide extra capital to allow us to have 2 sessions a week, or 2 pitches at the same time. If you want all this to happen, you know who to vote for.

I am nominating for the treasurer role because I have experience in this role. I used to be the treasurer of two clubs in my high school: Table Tennis Club and Futsal Club. During my time as treasurer, I handled club fees, managed t-shirt orders and printing fees, and oversaw all income and expenditures of the club. Within the scope of the budget given, I was able to plan and execute events or initiatives for the academic year, including subsidising students joining inter-school competitions and purchasing new equipments for the club. After planning activities with other committee members, I report the initiatives for the year to the school's board of directors and the budget allocated for each of them, with request for financial support from them where necessary.

I was often praised by my peers and teachers for being organised with handling cash, having an eye for detail and my ability in budgeting. I believe these skillsets lies in me til this day and could be valuable in helping a club advance. Futsal is a sport that is close to my heart and I believe to many others too. Hence, I am confident that I will carry out all necessary tasks for a club that brings me joy week in, week out and I am determined to make Friday night spent in Sommers Town a better experience than anywhere else.
