Why me?
-Have experience with monitoring a budget, being the Treasurer of my Sixth Form Head Team.
- Have experience with utilising a budget. Had to buy snacks for our Head Team's virtual charity week. Raised £800 for charity and made a profit off snacks.
What would I do:
- Ensure the budget is monitored effectively to allow for the financing of society events and socials.
- Work alongside other members of the committee to allow for the development of the society.

Hi everyone!
I am Jeff and I am a first-year economics student, and I am nominating myself for the role of the Treasurer for the First-Gen Society! I have previously served as the Mentoring Programme Executive and using that experience, I want to continue supporting everyone further as Treasurer.
It is incredibly important to me that both the members and the committee feel welcomed in this society and we build an environment in which everyone can be themselves. Therefore, as Treasurer, my main priority will be to direct financial support to officers and, more importantly, provide opportunities and a network for first-generation university students.
