This year, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the First Gen committee as newsletter manager, but I really want a role within the committee with more responsibility. That’s why I’m running for President. I am keen to carry on with everything our current President has established, such as the mentoring programme, various careers events, as well as our fun socials. However, I want to do more of these things and provide even more support to other first-generation students like myself.
