Czech and Slovak Society: Social Secretary

The whole society helps to create a sense of home away from home and allows for new amazing friendships. Events of all sorts are a great part of all this and that is essentially why I would love to take on this role for the upcoming year.

I consider myself to be creative, communicative, full of ideas and capable of transforming these ideas into reality. Being the president of the society last year, I have experience with organising many different kind of events. I never hesitate to reach out to people which I find is also key when for example looking for interesting speakers. If I were to be selected as the upcoming year’s social secretary, I would not only organise informal socials such as movie nights or Czech draught beer meet ups, but also more informative, for instance careers or current affairs related, events. In addition to this, I would also plan a few trips and hikes.
