Nitish Aswani

After being thoroughly impressed by how seamlessly the CC has transitioned given last year’s circumstances, I am keen on contributing my passion by applying as Treasurer. If elected, I aim to execute three main initiatives.

  1. Through my heavy involvement with the weekly beginner women coaching sessions, I have come to witness their passion and enthusiasm for the game. I greatly value this and aim to further promote their integration by raising club-wide awareness.

  1. Restructuring booking and payments systems for net sessions to pump more money for members of the club. I aim to explore the possibility of employing an easy-to-use pre-paid ‘token’ system for net bookings, as opposed to an end of year billing system. I am also keen to schedule two-hour net sessions, and organising subsidised transport to and from nets.

  1. Emphasising cricket ‘families’ to encourage bonding and promote a cohesive community between new and existing members, providing every one of you with a direct and approachable point of contact for all personal, social and cricket related matters.

I strongly believe that by making sensible financial choices and having an open mind for all of your suggestions, the CC can transition smoothly into the coming year!
