I already have the Canva App downloaded and also help me get more subs than Vinosh on my youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt7udVEhH95WxkHlv0k5Q1g :)
Because I love social media, I love secretaries but most importantly - I love RUMSCC
I have thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and training sessions that RUMS Cricket Club has held this year and therefore want to be involved in the decision making that will ensure the continuation of it’s success.
The role of a social media secretary is one of immense importance, being in command of the club's digital facade to the world is not one to be taken lightly. By running for this role, I am determined to propel the club's social media presence to new heights, which will bring some truly exciting developments to the club.
Being part of the RUMS Operations and Finance subcommittee over the past year has made me highly experienced in designing and handling social media posts, demonstrated in the posts for the launch of the RUMS App. My expertise in this will be perfect for me in the role of social media secretary.
Building upon the incredible work of the previous social media secretary, my goals are to further boost our online presence showcasing how welcoming the club is to a much wider audience, after all the social media page is the what they will first see. This will be done by having more posts which emphasise that new members (not just Freshers!) are always welcome to join our events, whether it be social only or cricket related.
Another one of my goals is to ensure maximum involvement and participation of all members of the CC, which I believe will be enhanced by having weekly timeline posts, building more hype for the events in the week ahead and making sure no one misses anything. I will work closely with the social secretaries to achieve this.
This will increase involvement in the CC and most certainly make our events much more HYPE!
I am running for Social Media Secretary, writing the actual speech for the AGM.
