Saskia Ziv-Guest

Hi, I'm Saskia and my goal as VP of Marketing will be to use social media to make Consulting accessible and engaging for students from diverse backgrounds. I’ve been a Member for a year and having found it through social media I am very aware of our online brand. I want to create dynamic and eye-catching social media content that invites new members to join while encouraging our current members to get more involved. If elected, I have lots of ideas, including:

- Creating a podcast to interview consultants at top firms, where Members can have their questions answered

- Highlighting our events via social media and in a monthly online calendar

- Continuing to engage our followers with interactive content while reinforcing our Society branding

- Expanding our reach on other platforms, such as LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube

I work best under pressure and I have social marketing experience, as I've interned at a digital WPP group company and worked on projects for clients like Nintendo and Burberry. I have experience working in teams, as I was Head of Social Media for a TEDxSevenoaks event. I also self-produce and have experience with marketing a podcast, which I would love to create for the Consulting Society. I’m really excited about this opportunity, and I would like to create even better social content to help other students have the same rewarding experience I have had.

Zara Mahesh Ratnani

My name is Zara Ratnani and I am honoured to run for the position of the VP of Marketing! Improving and implementing marketing strategies is something that I have always been passionate about, and my past experiences as a Social Media Manager of a local preschool in my hometown, along with being a marketing strategist at a textile company in Indonesia have improved my creativity, designing and editing skills.

As VP of Marketing, I intend on developing the marketing materials on social media platforms whilst ensuring that all the society’s events and opportunities are presented in visually appealing ways. I also plan to:

  1. Produce educational content on social media platforms that aim to enhance knowledge regarding consulting to all members (by developing the cheat sheets, displaying tactics for case studies, familiarising members with the entire application process, showing tips for interviews, and posting content regarding various consulting frameworks)
  2. Continue with polls and quizzes, whilst also introducing weekly question and answer sessions on Instagram stories for members to gain insights about any aspect of consulting.
  3. Strengthen the society’s branding by expanding social media platforms (e.g: Starting a TikTok account filled with informational content that would educate members.

As a detail-oriented and committed individual, I hope to be the next marketing VP so I can input my ideas and benefit all members of the society.
