I have been a member of the society for three years and a dedicated servant to the committee. I believe now is the time for me to care for the child I have so graciously reared.
Many of you will know me as the eccentric social secretary, the oratory defender of the BBC, or, of course, as Birmingham community leader. As the President, I want to continue the great legacy that this society has established so far, by hosting more rousing Port and Policies, more delicious curry nights and, of course, more engaging speakers. This is the time, to bring our past into the future, for that, is what it means, to be conservative. Inshallah.
