Photo Society: Vice President

I've been acting as the interim Vice President for Photo Soc over the summer and past few months. I care about supporting members of the society in creative endeavours and pushing themselves with photography project ideas. 

I love film photography and together with the society have learned a great deal about the equipment and methods for developing and printing analog photography. This is something that has changed my approach to photography and involves skills that I'd like to pass on to other members of the society who are interested!

I also care about the history and ethics of photography and would like to share this interest with the society in the form of reading groups and discussions.

I work well with Sam (President of PhotoSoc) and the rest of the lovely current committee. Over the summer we have been active in reaching our and communicating with others of the SU societies for collaborations. I think this is amazing because of the variety that we can introduce our society members to -- from fashion photography to reportage! I would like to be vice presient to continue to work and develop these collaborations. It will be great to see the committee and events grow over the next months!
