Claudia Song

I am excited to nominate myself as the charge captain. My first and foremost goal will be to create a positive and inclusive environment where every one of you feels valued and heard. 

People always say I’m the most caring person they know, as I would notice the smallest thing, remember it and act on it. So if you have any concerns I will always be here to listen to you and work on it as a team. 

I was also elected as the student rep for my course last year, where I represented my fellow peers and acted as the bridge of communication， I gained many insights and practical skills of being a good leader from my predecessors along the way. So same for cheer here, I want to lead everyone to be able to have a bonding cheer experience.

In addition to that, I believe in the power of motivation. Each one of you has unique talents and strengths, and my role as captain will be to motivate and nurture those qualities. Together, we can inspire the community with our best! performances and spirit. 

Even though the term hasn’t started for long, From the taster sessions, social events and weekly training, I am already In love with this society and the people, and I am grateful to be a part of this community. Thank you for voting for me and I cannot wait to make more great memories with you guys!
