Jazz Society Volunteering Project

In term 1 we will run online activities only, including jazzy challenges and music videos we’ll send to charities (e.g. Age UK). We hope this will be a nice distraction from the covid situation. In term 2 UCL Jazz Society usually performs weekly at the Macmillan Cancer Centre in the hope to raise money for the Cancer Fund and also to improve the well-being of patients visiting. The project also gives our members the opportunity to perform as part of a band and give back to their local community. We hope by playing jazz standards that these will be nostalgic for patients coming and going from the centre. Our partner is UCLH volunteering service.
