Ioana Paun

Hi everyone! My name is Ioana Paun and I am a first year BSc Politics and International Relations student. 

As someone who has previously been a member of this committee, I understand the importance of this role and the responsibilities that come with it. I believe that my previous experience, along with my strong networking, organizational, and communication skills, make me an excellent candidate for this position.

As a Career Officer, I have worked extensively with fellow committee members. I gained first-hand knowledge of the treasurer's responsibilities and duties, such as creating budgets, managing finances, and ensuring that the committee has the necessary resources to carry out its events. I also had the opportunity to work closely with the previous treasurer, which allowed me to gain valuable insights into the role and its requirements. 

My networking skills would enable me to build strong relationships with various stakeholders and sponsors, which will be beneficial in securing funding and resources for the committee. Additionally, my organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure that all financial records are kept up to date and that the committee's finances are managed in a transparent and efficient manner. 

I am passionate about the work of this committee and am committed to ensuring that the organization's finances are managed in a responsible and effective manner.
