Election post
Being the Editor-in-Chief of Delilah Magazine for 2022-23 and experiencing the magazine’s growth firsthand has been an immense pleasure. As the President, I want to further establish Delilah Magazine as one of the torchbearers of student-led publications at UCL.
Inclusivity is a pillar of Delilah Magazine which I aim to strengthen by shedding more light on music by LGBTQ+ and POC artists. This past year for Delilah Magazine has been beyond special with the successful release of our first two print editions, which were orchestrated by President Caitlin Chatterton and myself. I endeavour to build upon this success by ensuring a regular rollout of refreshing content, both online and in print.
With the primary objective of furthering the expansion of Delilah Magazine as a great platform for creative expression, we will also increase both social and literary collaborations with other UCL music societies. From pub crawls to karaoke nights to small gig socials, Delilah Magazine will boast an enticing social calendar which keeps everyone on their toes throughout the academic year!
I am confident in my ability to continue the current committee’s legacy and further amplify Delilah Magazine. Representing Delilah Magazine’s inclusive creative community that celebrates music is an opportunity that I am looking forward to having.
