Hi, I am Fotis Papathomas and I am currently in my second year studying Mechanical Engineering. I am standing for the position of Treasurer.

I am standing for Treasurer in this society election because I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience to effectively manage the society's finances. I have always had a keen interest in finance. I also have experience in managing finances as I had previously been elected Treasurer of the Interactors voluntary club of Limassol where I was responsible for managing the budget and allocating funds to various events.

As the treasurer, I would ensure that the society's finances are managed efficiently and transparently. I would create a detailed budget plan and ensure that all expenses are tracked and recorded accurately. I would also work with the other committee members to identify new fundraising opportunities and ensure that all financial decisions are made in the best interest of the society.

Furthermore, I believe that effective communication is crucial in managing finances, and I am confident in my ability to communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner. I would provide regular updates to the committee and ensure that all members are aware of the society's financial position.
