Marina Christodoulou

Hello there! If we haven't had the chance to meet during any of the events, my name is Marina. I'm a second-year Biomedical Engineering student from Cyprus and I'm running for the position of President next year. I've been part of this club for 2 years now, currently holding the role of the Events Manager of the committee. For me, the Cypriot and Hellenic Society is a diverse, welcoming, and enjoyable community. As the President, I would love to continue fostering this environment that brings together students of all backgrounds and studies, both undergrads and grads! Having covered two committee positions across two different clubs this year, I know that being President requires great organizational and communicational skills, which I am confident I have.

My goal for the club is to enhance its potential by working closely with the committee team and organizing frequent events, social gatherings, game nights, and of course taverna nights! I would love to continue the traditions that this society has built throughout the years with hard work and a lot of support from previous committee members. 

What I find truly amazing about university societies is that they are entirely student-led. As President, I would be receptive to feedback and ideas from the committee and members to keep improving and growing the club to the best of its abilities.
