Priyanka Desai

I am running for the role of social secretary because WCC has been one of the highlights of my year, and I am eager to play a part in shaping this club. I decided to join WCC after attending the socials, so I understand the importance of these events in outreach and boosting membership. In my time as member of WCC, I have been struck by the sense of community, support and care for each other in the club; I feel passionate about representing and promoting a club with such qualities. I believe that the WCC experience is a valuable one, and I feel enthusiastic about recruiting new members to partake in the opportunities that WCC offers. If elected to this role, I will carry out my duties with commitment, passion and care. From my own experiences of the club's socials this year, I understand what makes the club’s socials so successful and believe that I have the vision to organise successful events as a part of the team.
