Savanah James

Hi everyone! My name is Savanah James and I am currently a first year history of art student. I am running for a position because I 100% believe in the society’s mission of demystifying the art world and absolutely love the chill, welcoming vibe that it has created so far :) I would like nothing more than to amp up my current involvement going into the next year!!

I am an extrovert who loves meeting new people and am excited to see what I can do with more involvement in the society! I have no issues with putting myself out there and would be more than happy to dedicate my time to expanding the network of our society! From my internships with galleries in the US to families I have nannied for, I have some amazing connections I would love to put in touch with our members! I hold multiple national debate titles in the US as well, so I would like to think I am a persuasive and convincing speaker who can reach out and construct good business relations on behalf of the society’s in the industry. From sending thank you gifts to our connections, reaching out and polishing our relationships regularly, and providing opportunities for members to further connect with our partners beyond events in the form of mentorship and work schemes, I am confident I can find multiple ways to make myself useful as an External Relations Officer!
