Vacha Fadia

Hi, I'm Vacha! The past two years at Jain Society as events officer have been rewarding, and seeing the engagement at our events has been incredibly encouraging. This year I'm hoping to lead UCL Jain Society as president to continue bringing more great events and growing the community. I hope to bring more regular events and increase charity engagement following the success of volunteering at a homeless soup kitchen. I believe religious education and discussion to facilitate further understanding of Jainism is a key part of connecting with our religion, which is why I would also love to hold more group discussions. Spirituality and mindfulness are central pillars of Jainism and collaborating or hosting activities that promote this are a huge interest of mine. I would love the opportunity to implement these things and more over the coming year!
