I would like to run for the position of treasurer for the Islamic Society.

Below is a short overview of what I plan to do in this role:

Ensure that all regular activities next year are fully financially supported - this will be done by raising funds via sponsorships, writing grant proposals and preparing budget plans and financial reports.

Work closely with the Students' Union and relevant stakeholders in order to secure grant funding for society projects such as Ramadan, Discover Islam Week and Freshers' Fortnight.

Maintain strong communications with committee members to ensure financial transparency and awareness of the society's financial position.

Coordinate with committee members in event planning, making sure that events requiring funding are planned in accordance with Students' Union policies.
