Irish and Northern Irish Society: President

Hi everyone! I am running for president of UCL Irish and Northern Irish Society to grow our membership, increase frequency of socials and collaboration with other societies. The society is still very young and I would love to continue the great progress we have made this year. Having been Treasurer for 2021-22, I already have experience with the society's admin and helping to lead our socials - it is important that the committee has smooth succession so we have a good start next year. I am keen to strengthen our ties with LSE and KCL Irish Societies and maintain our close relationship with UCL Welsh Society too. For 2022/23, I would love to add monthly educational and volunteering activities to our society calendar to broaden participation in our events. If you haven't met me yet, two things I love are Guinness and Irish Rugby (especially together) - these will obviously heavily feature next year!!! I have discussed the idea of a pub crawl of the best Guinness in Central London (other drinks are allowed) with a few members so look out for that one! Thanks
