Agnes Demcsak

As a Hungarian who came to the United Kingdom to study, I feel that it is important to keep my national identity. Currently as the Treasurer of the Hungarian Society I am surrounded by a warm and welcoming community that inspires me to become an active member in order to give back to my friends and peers.

I am a second year Information Management for Business student and am passionate about technology and innovation, as well as building community through a variety of activities. Although this year’s Covid-19 situation has been slightly better, the future still holds uncertainties. I will continue to aim to adapt to the current situation whilst aiding the organisation of as many events, socials and discussions as possible. We must continue to place even greater emphasis on human interaction and maintaining a community where everyone feels welcome.
