There are only two things that I love more than playing hockey with the boys, and one of those is getting loose with the boys on a Wednesday night. It always fills me with immense joy and pride when news hits me of a sorry soul completing pleth, and it is this passion and love of hockey socials which is why I want to run for social secretary.

I believe I can contribute a lot as social secretary. Through carefully crafted and peer-reviewed social posts, I would look to get more and more members of the hockey club involved in socials and having a fantastic time in the boys and integrate with the womens’ club. I would look to communicate with team captains to learn about the personality of their teams and think of ideas for socials that would fit this so as to make Wednesdays enjoyable for everyone. Additionally, I would like to include some more non-drinking socials to make hockey socials accessible for everyone, and making sure that no one feels left out.

I fit the necessary criteria of every successful hockey social secretary: Strong chat, massive ego, zero personality outside of hockey and above all, I love a game of special number.

TL;DR: Vote for me.
